How can you tell if your hamster has an allergic reaction to something?

They sneeze, loose hair, can become lethargic,  may push the bedding out of their nest.  To make sure it an allergies and not an upper respiratory infection change the bedding if it's an allergy the symptoms will go away if its uri it will not and will need to be taken to the vet.

they have cold like symptons the way humans react when they have hayfever. check for a wet nose and sneezing. they may also have a suppressed appetite and lack of droppings. they will also be lethargic and may want to sleep more than usual. certain wood shavings can cause this. remove anything that you have recentley added to the cage, disinfect and clear out the cage and if symptoms persist consult a vet x*x
