How can you tell if your hamster has wet tail?

usually its cute little butt is wet and it smells terrible. they usually stop drinking as much and eating as much and stop running and moving for the most part. its pretty easy to fix as long as you get on it soon. the best fix i ever found was this liquid thsat you put in their water for a week. its fairly cheap too.

well.check your hamsters p**p.if its like diarhea he most likely has wet tail.dont mistake it for urine!. plus if u really r worried u can feel his a**s area and see if he/she has a wet area of diahrea.or if u can tell that is wet of diarhea. good luck hipe i helped!

The main symptoms are diahorrea and tiredness, your hamster won't be moving around as much and might spend a lot more time sleeping.

Also if your hamster smells, a kind of urine smell, then there is a strong chance is has wet tail,  and you should get it to a vets as soon as you can.

It becomes 'lazy' and sleeps alot. Mine started actually biting me whenever I'd try to hold him and his booty was always wet.

the first sign is diarrhea. the little hamsters fur will also be caked with its own f***s! He wont be active as usual.. he will have a odor thats not of the normal. and on the active part remember to listen at night since thats when they are most active.

you can hydrate him with some pedialyte (the stuff for kids) and go to the pet store and get this stuff called Dri-Tail. if he appears weak directly medicate him (use a eyedropper) and also put it in his water.
