  1. well im an part-timer at a restaurant & when i'm busy i'll

tell them "umm yes, hold on a sec, let me just finish this & i'll get back to you" [basically when im busy i talk to the customers].

but i see when some of my workers are being rude is when

they basically walk away/ roll their eyes on the customer. &

they would ask someone else to get the customer's order with

    an attitude.

  2. Well it doesn't matter if they are busy or not tehy need to be nice to customers or they don't get a tip. ANd if they are rude call the manager because the waiter or waitress needs to leave her attiuitde at home.

  3. well the busy ones would'nt  say no if u asked them about something. But the rude ones would maybe say whatever if u asked them something.

  4. a rude employee will ignore you when you ask them something. a busy one is when they say something like "yes, mam. i'll get that right away" and they start rushing everywhere trying to get you what you've asked for.

  5. The rude ones have a nasty expression on their face like you smell bad.

The busy ones talk when they're doing something, if you ask them something, I mean.

  6. You can tell when someone is being rude to you or if they are just busy. Even if they're busy, they can still be courteous. It's a vibe you get and if someone is rude, you should call them out on it. When I encounter a rude employee somewhere, I usually ask them, 'So, you're not having a good day, are you?' That usually shocks them a bit or at least makes them smile. Sometimes I think people don't realize they are being rude until you confront them with it. Go ahead and confront them, though. It's your right!

  7. I think even if your busy you should still answer people and be polite.  Busy or not thats your job working with the public and you should be considerate.  If your not I take it as being rude.....
