  1. Ball lightning is a natural event.

Orbs are, well look at the link below. They're hardly skeptics, maybe you'll take their word for it.

They are a good example of how paranormal claims never go away.

Most legitimate paranormal investigators.Discounted them years ago. Then a new group comes in and spreads bad information on them.Just like certain folks are doing right here. They ask science to investigate. Then refuse to accept the findings.Even when paranormal investigators with much more experience then them do.

That's a big reason why nothing is explained. You're tired of the old"no evidence"chestnut.

Orbs are an example of something that has been investigated and explained. One of many if anyone took the time to look.

Here's something that skeptics and experienced Paranormal investigators agree on.

Yet,it's recycled over and over by people who see a spot on a photo.

Then refuse to accept what's already known to cause it.

  2. REAL Orbs are very distinct from anything else. They are more rounded shaped with a definite flight path. They can sometimes have a tail and are a solid mass that tends to move slowly. They an be seen with the naked eye and not only with a camera. They are truly interesting.

  3. Ball lightning is a meteorological event, rare in nature, and can be quite dangerous. Some ball lightning is known to explode. It is visible with the naked eye.

Orbs are photographic errors from small particle reflections. They have been known about for decades by professional studio photographers and in the mid-nineties amateur ghost hunters declared them as paranormal when found on their digital images. As cameras became smaller, the lens system closer to the flash unit, and the expense of taking countless pictures decreased to near 0, more photos were then shot and more photography errors were then seen.

Spirit lights  are roundish floating spherical lights seen by the naked eye, typically at a distance. They often appear in a specific location, usually at night. Generally they disappear too quickly or stay far enough away from the viewer that the source of the light cannot accurately be determined. One famous example is the Paulding Light in Michigan's U.P.

  4. Ball lightning is visible to the naked eye, orbs are not! Ball lightning is very rare and can be dangerous. It was also considered paranormal until recently...
