How can you tell the the difference between a 3000 psp and a 2000 psp>?

i am getting a psp for christmas and i kno the diff between the 2000 and 3000 psp.but i want to kno how can you tell the difference?does it look differet????when you buy how can you make sure you get the 3000???

I don't know by the box (I would assume it says), but by looking at the actual psp, the 3000 has the PSP button below the screen to the left

well in psp there is a home button but in psp 3000 there will be a playstation icon button just like the ps3 has it. it will have a better screen so when you play games you should be able to see the difference . it will also have built in mic for skype. It might come in few different color but not sure about that. i know everyone who buys a new product, they want it to look a little bit different so people can see it from far away but psp 1000 and psp 2000 didn't have much difference either. there should be different kind of box and it should say psp 3000 somewhere on the box.

it will also have thinner ring on the back

lol. im sure the box would change. but one main difference is that the HOME button on the slim says HOME  but in the 3000, it has the Playstation logo instead. and in the pictures, its hotter. and theyre bound to make sure it says psp 3000 somewhere. or maybe a new psp name.
