  3. go to a clothes shop and get a load of different coloured plain tee's.

Try each one of them on and get a friend to tell you which colour looks best on you.

  5. Talk to a stylist (hair stylist works), he'll tell you if your skin tone is "warm" or "cold", and should suggest decent colour for your hair and clothes =)

  6. Oh this is a great question to ask!

and I know the perfect thing.

I think last week there was an episode of Triny and susanne undress the nation on Tv and it was all about colour & finding what suits you.

They may have it on their website but..

    basically

    if I remember

Cool colours so like bright illuminus colours suit olive skinned, dark skinned or very tanned people.

    Warm colours suit

Pale people with blonde hair or strawberry blonde hair or dark hair.

and the other sort of blunter colours suit feckled girls with ginger hair or brown hair (I just forgot what categoric of colours)

Um maybe www.itv.co.uk and then look for Triny and Susanne.

    Hope I helped.

  7. When I get complimented on certain colors (for me it's teal, red, and white) I wear them more.

    That's how I know.

  8. You don't say what your colouring is .... hair, eyes, skin etc - without this it's quite difficult to advise you.

Add a bit more information and I'm sure you'll get lots of responses.

    Thanks for the additional information.

I like the answer from heart.

You image puts me in mind of someone close to me who has your colouring and she looks best in brights - never pastels.  Darks are also too much for her - unless they are on the bottom and she wears a white top.  She can wear black but only if it has lots of activity on it.

Your colours are similar to Sophie Ellis Bextor - try searching the web for images of people that have similar colouring to you - that way you can look before you buy.

    Good luck.
