I suggest that you try two things.  try wikipedia.org   And try looking on yahoo, or google.    The problem with your questions is I don't know where you got it from.  Did you catch it?  If you did then check out amphibians that are native to your home state.  Did you buy it, or did some one give it to you? I bet even a local pet store could tell you what kind of frog it is.       Well Good Luck

or go to a vet and get him/her to identify the type?
