Just wondering. I'm kind of bored. All I know is, without glasses, I have 20/25 in my right eye, and 20/200 in my left. And I'm nearsighted.

  1. Call up the place you last bought your specs from.

  2. 20/25 means you are reading a letter size at 20 feet which an normal eye can read at 25 feet.

    20/200 means your eye sees/ recognize a specific letter/object at 20 feet which a normal/emmetropic eye can see/recognize at 200 feet.

I hope u got how much less vision you have without glasses....

So please, wear your glasses. :-)

  3. You cannot easily do so.  It requires an instrument, which opticians have, to measure the corrections.  So, always save a copy of your current prescription.

  4. you cant, the only way to tell the power is on a vertometre which opticians use. the best thing to do is have a copy of your prescription with you from when you got your eyes tested. if you look the lenses and everything seems smalled you have minus lenses and if things are magnified you have plus lenses.
