How can you trace a blocked call?

my best friend got a REALLY perverted nasty message on her cell phone with this person trying to pretend they were my best friend's crush. how can i trace this call? she has a boost phone and we tried looking it up on the website but it didn't show up. & we dont want to bring the cops into all of this or any law enforcement so plz help us!

sorry there is no way but to use *57, there is a charge and it does notify the police. trust me there is no other way

I think the only wany you can get it is if you bring the cops into it.  Same thing happened to me and the "phone company" wouldn't give me the number, they told me to call the cops.  And the cops seem to only do something if they are threatening you.
