  1. you can take a plane for less than $200 dlls.

but it is cheaper and more fun to take a bus to colonia (also a good place to visit) or montevideo for a few bucks and cross the river in the Buquebus which takes an hour to cross.

    Buenos Aires a great city.

    -San Telmo

    -Recoleta

    -Puerto Madero

    -Palermo

    -Cañitas

    -Centro

    -Costanera

    and many more...

    for more, check out http://bue.gov.ar

    have a great trip.

  2. There are buses to Montevideo every hour from Punta del este. When you get to Montevideo. Take Buquebus. The fast boat or the slow boat to Buenos Aires  http://www.buquebus.com/cache/HomeENG.ht... The prices are in pesos

Buenos Aires has 18,000,000 people. There are many things to do

  3. If you want to go directly from Punta del Este to Buenos Aires, you can do it by plane.......

On the contrary you have several ways to do it .

I dont recomend you go by bus or car.

Some argentinian pple are cutting the routes and you can be stand there for several hours.

The best is plane or...may be as another person said......Buquebus.

For that, you have to go to Montevideo.

If you have at least 2 days...u can know the main things in Buenos Aires.

It is a nice city, very big, but so much heat there in summer.

    Anyways.......for to know it.....you'll be ok and i'm sure u'll enjoy .

  4. It is extremely worth the trip.  Cross over to Buenos Aires.  It is an amazing, huge city that I am sure you will love.  You should spend at least a few days there although you need well over a week to see most things.

But please do, it's worth the trip.  YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.  Even if it's just a day,

-go to the Pink House(presidential house),

-Puerto Madero (the new modern part),

-Downtown(where you will see the world's

largest avenue and a tall Obelisk in the center like the Washington Memorial).

-check out Palermo park if you want too.(it's like our version of Central Park)

Go see those if you only go for a day.

PLEASE don't just walk around the part around the port because it's not the prettiest.

TRUST ME, CROSS OVER, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
