Find out why are you not treating him well....are you mad at him? Subconsciously resent him?  Is he mean to you?  THere has to be a reason behind your feelings that is causing you to not treat him well.  I think after you address this issue ...it will be easier to treat your husband better.

Put him before yourself, and hopefully, he will do the same.  Get to know the things that HE likes, not what you think he'd like.

Think back to the qualities that first attracted you to him.  Focus on recognizing and appreciating those qualities.  Make a special effort to do all the little things that make him feel appreciated.  Regularly tell him how much you love him and what you love about him.  Little surprises, such as his favorite candy in his brief case, along with a loving note, will make him feel like the luckiest guy in the world.  Keep it up and you will find he is doing more to treat you like the dream girl he married.

In general men are more visual and tactile.  So as women we like to hear compliments and we look at the thoughtfulness behind things, but men appreciate the gift itself (for my 30 y/o husband it's still video games - go figure).  He doesn't think "Wow she had to go to the store and remember which one and buy it and wrap it..that must have taken time.."  He thinks "Awesome I have Madden 2009!" , but appreciates that I went and got it so he didn't have to.  

Also, don't keep score.  That helps me in being nice, I don't think of the last nice thing he did for me..I just do something nice for him - no reciprocation needed.
