You really cant, cars that are hybrid are custom built to be hybrid. If you could simply convert your car to hybrid, it wouldn't have taken Cadillac 3 years with a team of over 60 engineers to figure out how to make a hybrid Escalade.

It would be very difficult (and extremely expensive) to retrofit on a non-hybrid car.

Even the simplest hybrids, the ones that simply shut the engine off when you stop, would require a different starter, different & extra battery, and very large wires to carry the extra current.

Your best bet would be to wait until your car needs replacing and get a used hybrid vehicle to let depreciation bite a bit out of the higher initial cost.

Buy 6 24v batteries and an a 24v electric motor. put a drive belt from the El motor to the drive shaft and when you get speed up to about 30 mph. Turn off the engine and turn on the electrical motor.  with a full charge, you should get about 50 miles on the batteries.

yes u can. u have to buy a hybrid engine and get it installed

that will probobly cost you about 37000 to 40000

you would be better off buying a hybrid car than buying the engine.
