You can but you need to cut the braided wire with a lead seal on the meter. Then you can open the electric meter and turn on the electricity and even suspend the meter from advancing forward. However, when the meter reader comes to read your current meter and sees that the security wire has been cut and notices unusually low usage of electricity, someone from the power company will be knocking on your door.

it is possible.  my friend did it but i dont know how.

he got free electric for almost 2 months and then they caught him and shut it off.  they didnt  fine him
