The quick answer is you need a website.  A website is a special place on the internet with a special address.  The website doesn't just magically appear. It has to be created and then it has to be available so others can find it.

Think of it this way.  I have some furniture and I need a place to put it all. I can get a house, an apartment, a storage facility, etc. They all have one thing in common.... an address.   That way if I want other people to be able to look at my sofa I can tell them where it is.

Same thing with your documents. In order for people to find those documents on the internet you need to give them an address. The internet address is called a Domain Name.  (Just like yahoo.com is a domain name.) You can get your very own domain name or you can share a domain name with someone else. Once you have your address you'll need a web host. A web host stores the web site you create on their servers and transmits it to the internet so that when someone types in your domain name, your web site appears. A server is just a fancy computer that "serves up" your web site to the internet.

Now that you've got all that taken care of you can start building your  actual website.  The website will have its own special instructions on how to upload your documents, photos, music, etc to share with others. That way, when people type vegetarianprincess.com they won't just be looking at a blank screen :-)

Sounds like a lot of work but millions of people have done it because a survey was done in February 2007 that found more than 108 million websites.
