How can you view how much profit a company made last year?

If they are a publicly-owned corporation, the financial statements are available through the SEC.  Yahoo Finance, Morning Star, Bloomberg, etc will also have substantial financial information on publicly-owned corps.  

If the company is not publicly-owned, check the company website under the "investors" section and see if the financial statements are available there.

type in the name of the company in google or yahoo etc. and look it up on wiki or sth

You can not.  Corporate greed runs rampant in the US.  They hide certain amounts of earnings so that they do not have to pay more taxes.  Oh and you gotta remember the million-dollar upper-management salaries.

financial report if not available send a request - they are required by law to publish those reports, well not always... but most of them
