How can you win a game of monopoly?

never ever try to buy all the property as that will just bankrupt you

go for a chosen few i personally try to get vine street collection and the bond street one but its your choice always have at least one expensive properties because you cannot win by just having old kent and angeliston cards

oh yeah and the rail ways are always good to have!

and of course you could lways create diversion and commit a bank robberry lol

No cheats but I would buy all the cheap placed {Old kent road ect} then build a hotel coz they r cheap 2 buy n everyone always lands on them!! Good Luck!!

buy light blues,purples,park place & boardwalk.... if you can get all of these with hotels.. you will win.. guarenteed...

The traditional means of actually 'winning' Monopoly is by owning all the property on the board (a difficult feat), or by being the only person with money left in the game (the far more common means of winning). I don't have any specific methods, but the idea is pretty simple: get as much property as possible.

A lot of things factor into a winning game of Monopoly. Luck is one of those factors. You can go a whole game without going to jail, then next game you can't stay out of it. Rolling doubles several times, or not rolling any at all. Luck, luck, luck.

With that said, a good strategy is to start low and work high. As you know, the first properties of the board you go over are the cheapest. You can get houses and hotels there easily, buy the payback for just a few houses, especially if you own just that one quarter of the board, can be nice. Not to mention the safety guaranteed if you land on your own property.

Utilities and other specialty properties, like railroads, are also good to have. You can't put houses or hotels on them, but when there are Chance and Community Chest cards that make you go straight to those particular properties, you can amass a tidy sum of fake money just by owning the Railroads.

That's just a few things to consider, but you might already know about those strategies. I am, by no means, a Monopoly guru, but I do remember the game vividly from when I used to play.

BUY whatever you can, property and ownership is all that counts, borrow if you have to, extract all rents and take no prisoners, and never ever let your parents allow you to win because you are small and young and they take pity on you.

There are no cheats but I always buy the first half of the board (brown to orange) cause the properties, houses and hotels are cheap. This way you don't get broke. As well as that if you get a whole line of properties(very hard but possible), people will most likely land on it.

Also buy all the train stations and try to buy a property of each colour so you can make trades.

Last of all, buy the dark blue properties, even if you don't need it. You don't want anyone else to get an advantage of you by buying it!
