How can you write fiction for radio?

or, do you know of any production companies for radio who will consider manuscripts by new writers/

no radio station in the UK features original fiction by new writers. BBC Radio 4 has a show, The Afternoon Reading, featuring new fiction, but it is either by established names or writers put forward by organisations. There are no details of who the programme is produced by.

There are many opportunities for drama but none for fiction.

I have emailed the BBC several times to ask how to subit fiction for this programme but they have refused to tell me.

So, do you know of any radio stations anywhere in the world who will consider fiction, and where to contact?

Good mornin ,,from appalachia ohio,,,,what ah time you are havin,,,,welcom to the real world ,where tha best of the best writers ,don't make it to level 1 ,,,,First I commend you for writing ,,but if you send in your story it might get stollen,,,them so and sos ,,,it seams like you need ah friend from ah radio station or ah good friend of ah colledge dean ,,,if your writin fiction ,keep it up ,,,don't quit ,,,,did you ever try to write ah short fiction story ,,,and put music in tha background ,,then put it on my space music.com???Here is what I did,,,I;m now retired,,,and handycapped,,,but I write,and play music,,,nobodys knockin my door down,,but i didn't quit ,,,I write stories true and fiction,put my own music to them record them then I try to market them on cd baby .com,,,under nick fiore ,,ck it out some time ,,,do you remember the lords of the ring ,,,,it was wrote on napkins at first ,,,,want to know what happen to the writer ,,?  yep ,,she is rich,,,and famous ,,,please don't give up,,,,but before you quit go to my space music and whograss records ,,,listen to some of our songs ,,listen to the lyrics ,,,listen to the stories ...true and fiction,,,,,,,,there are 6 songs total ,,,,but tarzan was hot and jane was ah cheerleader ,,is my favorite short story in ah song ,,,,,I have some narriations not released yet ,,,stories about hillary clinton ,,,,people who just died ,,,,,,stay in touch ,,and tha best of luck oll nick
