  1. Look at it.

  2. Actually, if a digital clock is flashing because of a power outage, for example, you can figure out when that happened.  You know it would reset to 12:00, but then it would start ticking off the time again.  See what time it is flashing now.  Take how much time has passed since 12:00 (hours and minutes) and then subtract that amount of time from the time it really is now.  You'll then know at what time the clock went haywire.

  3. im not surprised you dont know how.i can determine this by your writing skills. or lack there of

  4. You can only determine the moment when it stopped in both cases

but you can't know which day was that

  5. Look?

  6. Time to buy a new clock!

  7. If it's an analog clock, whatever time it's stuck on is the time it stopped.  If it's digital and it's just flashing 12:00 or flashing the wrong time, you probably can't tell the time at which it was stopped.

  8. check the clock and see what time it reads

  9. Depends - is it digital or analogue? If it's analogue have a look at it to see where the hands are and compare it to another clock that's working... Then you'll know the time - but you can't know the date (or whether it was in the am or pm) without remembering when the last time you checked it was.

  10. If it's a clock with hands, you just look at it silly!  If it's a digital clock, you're out of luck.
