The environment at home has a direct impact on childrens development.  Where children are respected and loved they are free to safely learn and develop.  Where there is fear or neglect children are in survival mode and all their instincts are based on not getting it wrong.  Children need to be surrounded with positive learning experiences in order to learn. Where these are lacking how do they learn the things other children are exposed to as a matter of life.
