How clean are cats mouths? ?

My cat kills birds, and then comes in and lays on my bed and rubs his face on mine. Kinda hard to avoid is this sanitary?

Cats' mouths are filled with bacteria just like ours.  What cats bite they make puncture wounds which easily abcess due to the bacteria. Whether that means a head butt is dangerous...probably not.  But I am actually more concerned that he's being allowed to destroy wildlife. Entire species of birds have been wiped out by pet and feral cats on the prowl.

I wouldn't worry about... the birds! He also washes his butt, with his mouth.
