How clean do you think the ocean is?

I read that in 1991 Nuclear weopons were detonated in the sea over the sea and in the air, next to Norway and Siberia. As a result, the sea next to Norway has been labeled as toxic and dangerous. Have you read about this? Look for news on the Kara Sea and Norway... Do you have more information about this?

Didn't happen.

If a nuclear weapon had been set off it would have been detected by seismometers, and radiation detectors and pretty much everyone would have complained about it (since it would have violated some treaties).

There are some old Soviet Naval reactors there though (dumping reactors at the bottom of the Ocean has since been banned) although the releases are low level and only of localised concern.
