At least things may be looking up. What do you think?

  1. It was unwinnable from the beginning....we are not fighting a conventional enemy....things will either stay as they are or we give up and leave as was done in Vietnam....and that makes us the defeated..

  2. Muslims will never give credit to non Muslims for anything under the sun. They will never give US the satisfaction of wining in any shape or form.

  3. No closer than we were when this mistake of a war first started.

  4. I think we are not close at all.  I think we will never have victory in Iraq.  We cannot win that war because we are fighting more than 2000 years of fights.  We do not understand their sttruggle and their tribal problems.  If we are willing to be there for another + 2000 yrs., we might see the end of it.  However, victory, will not be achieved because of the kind of fight it is.

I wish I could be more optimistic, but that is the way it is.
