  1. The road in front of your neighbours driveway does not belong to your neighbour.I  wouldn't fall out with your neighbour by blocking him in . Be considerate and allow

enough room for him to drive his car in and out.

  2. you can park as close to where the curb drops and if there are no yellow lines you can park right on it!

  3. I get idiots parking on my drive, they don't believe they can be summonsed for obstruction.

    Check your highway code.

  4. You can park as close as you want. As long as your not blocking him from getting out go for it!

  5. Check your local byelaws as well as highway code (guessing you're UK because of spelling - sorry if I'm wrong.) In theory, if the kerb is not dropped, you can park across the drive, but I wouldn't recommend it!

Not aware of any laws about distance either side of the drive, but I think just be considerate and make sure they can get out fairly easily (a lot depends on how wide the road is, if cars are commonly parked opposite, so how much manoeuvring space they have.)

Hope you have friendly neighbours for as long as you live there!

  6. you can park up to where the curb starts to fall...
