How close is The Good Earth the film To The Book?

I was thinking of watching The Good Earth (Film) but how close is it to the book? Cause I don't want to be disappointed

If You guys can rate according to percentage that would be great but you don't have too

as long as it doesn't bother you all white people are playing chinese and speaking english. it's pretty close.

The plot is the same, but the book has much more detail.  There are scenes in the book that don't appear in the movie, which has to happen of course, with a movie based on a book.
