  1. well, when it comes to the climate and environment changing, it's actually already in the process. it's too late to do anything even if everyone cleaned up their act at once, today.

species are going extinct at a rapid pace now, almost everyday we lose 4 i think? the arctic ice is about 10 or less years away from being gone.

Unfortunately even in the face of that, most people don't give two damns about what happens. most people just scream hippy treehugging agenda.

I bet that when the earth is uninhabitable, the same people that were desperate for it to happen will turn around and blame the liberal democrats too ;p

some species man turned out to be

  2. its like a couple million years away i think

  3. Destruction ? if the earth's ice caps melted and flooded the earth all over again, do you know what would happen to the earth ?  Nothing. It will keep on going and either we'll be in a "Water World" fantasy or it wont matter because the earth with exist with out us.

I agree Too many Al Gore movies here...  Bless his heart..

  4. I'd say we have about 49 years at the rate we're going. But if we cleanup our act, and the world, we might be able to live a sustainable lifestyle for eternity. ~MaDiSoN

  5. You've watched too many Al Gore propaganda movies.

The planet's been around for billions of years and had a lot more happen to it than a bunch of tiny humans running around it.

Watch this for a comical look at the "save the planet" agenda:

  6. Not very close.  The Earth has been in worse situations back through history and prehistory, and we're still here.

    i.e. Ice Ages

  7. in about 4 billion years when the Sun burns out.  The planet has existed for BILLIONS of years and is just fine.  It has endured the movement of continents, countless earthquakes, meteore strikes, dozens of periods of global warming and global cooling.

Al Gore has said that when the artic ice melts, sea levels will rise by 20 feet.  Earlier this year, Al Gore stated that his scientists have concluded that the climate is worse then expected and the artic ice could be gone in 5 years.  Let's see now.  20 feet into 5 years is 4 feet per year or 2 feet every 6 months.  It is now August (8 months) from when Al gave us the bad news.  Has the sea risen 2 feet?  Nope.

Al Gore is now worth 100 million dollars.  My guess is he is not seeing his bank account grow fast enough and he knows that this global warming scare will die soon - just as the previous global cooling/global warming scares have.  Additionally, Al Gore is important now.  When global warming is no longer an issue, Al Gore will no longer be relavent.  Al Gore wants to be relavent.

So Exxon-Moble makes 10% profit (xbox has a much higher profit margin) that is distributed to stockholders and probably about 40-60 million 401K mutual funds and retirement accounts - while Al Gore makes some speeches, creates a slide show that is turned into a movie and makes 100 million.

Before people pick on oil companies, they need to check their 401K mutual fund distributions or pension plan investments and see how much they have invested in "ENERGY".

  8. Everyone is NUTS!!!! This "Global Warming" c**p has happened 10 or 20 years ago and were still here. When everyone said we'd die because of the new millennium, what are they thinking now that were still alive! GIVE ME A BREAK! This is just a marketing strategy to mark up prices for "organic" things and "all-natural" and gas $$$s going up! How will raising gas prices solve global warming or the "economy crisis"? everything is one big lie nowadays!!!!
