How close to your due date did you actually deliver your baby?

Just wondering. I'm due September 26 and I hope that it won't be too much longer...

I was due august 16 and i had her on august 5th.

Well, my original due date was dec. 4th. I had her the 14th, but that was a c-section, I never had labor or a single contraction, although I was leaking amniotic fluid. And by that time they had changed it to the 10th, or the 19th. My doctor and the hospital had different dates down in my charts for some reason.

My cousin was due on the 15th(or roundabout there) of last month, but she had her son on the 8th.

They were both first children.

Seriously, I buy into the theory that if you were born earlier than your due date, your children will be too. I was born a day early, my brother a day late, lol. I'm not sure what my daughters true due date was, so I can't be sure or back this with my own experience, lol. But they do say first ones are supposed to be late, I don't think it's true though.

Most healthy babies are born ten days after the due date. First-time mothers need up to 42 weeks and longer for their baby to fully develop. Due dates are estimates only, and almost always wrong, especially for first-time mother whose babies need more "womb time". This is a good time to increase the amount of protein you are eating and the amount of water you are drinking. Congrats and best wishes, G

My first was due March 9th, I had him March 12th

My second was due June 20th I had her July 2nd

and my last was due April 22nd, and I had her April 28th (I was induced)

i was due 05/04/04 and had my daughter on that date, apparently not many are born on the edd i guess my daughter just was preparing me for her temperment which is she doesnt like to wait for anything lol

Three days before the doctor's estimate.  The same day as my estimate (based on when I conceived, not my period).

My first was two weeks late and I had to be induced. My second was a week and half early! Good Luck!

My daughter was 2 weeks early, so exactly at 38 weeks

With my oldest: 38 weeks 2 day (12 days early). This one may have to earlier than that.

Most women will deliver between 38 an 42 weeks. It just really depends on the baby, your body and the doctor (s/he may decide that it's time for the baby to come before your body or the baby does).

Well i'm not pregnant, and never have been, but my mom had me a week and 4 days early. Her due date was October 11th,1994 and she had me September 30th, 1994.

My first child was due on June 5th and I was induced on June 17th. Had to have a C-section due to large size, and all the others were planned c-sections 1 week earlier than the due date.

38wks nearly to the day. My water broke 37wks 6 days, he was born 38wks 1 day.

I just assumed my first would be late so was really surprised.

I was due September 26 last year, and my daughter arrived on her due date.  Soon, we will be celebrating her very first birthday!

My eight year old son was due on June 27, and was a day early arriving on June 26.

My ten year old daughter was due on January 30, and arrived four days early on January 26.

Yes, all three were born on the 26.
