How cna I delete my real name from my Yahoo group ID so people cannot see it when I send messages in the group

Question

I see where others in my yahoo group only have a user name listed and no personal first or last name listed under their ID.

that is what I want. I want to get my personal real name off the ID in that group.

update your yahoo groups profile.  if you have trouble with that they have their help section.

Change the information in your profile.

Click on your name this should take you to your profile. Select edit my info, there should be an option to use your Yahoo ID or enter a different name. You can type in whatever you want and update your profile.
