How cold I cover a suitcase with pictures or paper?

It's a hard suitcase. Very old too.

But I would like to cover it with regular pictures and magazine pictures.

I want it to last along time. I slide my suitcase from under my bed allot when I need in it at my boarding school, and there are scratches on it cause the floor isn't carpet.

It works fine and it's really big. I just think it needs a makeover.

How could I do this? I know I would need some sort of plaster or something. Please be very clear with steps. Thank you very much.

  1. Get rubber cement and paste each pic to the case and then get laminate paper which is like Giant tape the size of regular paper and lay it very carefully so you dont get air bubbles on top of the glued pics....that should hold it and keep them safe...=]

  2. paint an area with mod podge (you can find it at walmart or any craft store) and stick a picture on. keep doing this until all the pictures that you want are on. then cover all the pictures with mod podge again so it will keep them on and protected....i LOVE mod podge! :)

  3. I agree with the Modge Podge comment! I've even seen it used on furniture and stuff..It's very durable once you glue the pictures on it and completely cover the surface with modge podge and then make sure it dries very well.  If you're going to scuffle it a bit, I would put a second layer on it.

    Good luck!
