How cold does it have to be for me to see my breath?

  1. A very interesting question and not one with a simple answer. It depends upon 4 things, (1) how hot your breath is, (2) how cold it is around you, (3) how much water vapour is already in the air - the relative humidity, and (4) the barometric pressure. On some days you could see your breath when it is well above freezing point and others it could be below freezing. So there is no single answer to your question.

  6. It has to be cold, but it depends on the tempature of your breath, so it is really not a set tempature, because there are many veriables.....
