How cold does it usually get in Nashville in January?

Question

Im going to nashville January for my birthday celebration with my husband. Im worried its going to be freezing but my husband says it doesn't get as cold there as it does here (indiana) So how cold should i expect it to be??

Ps I know I have a while. i was just thinking about it.

Looks like for January average highs are in the mid 40's while average lows are in the upper 20's.  They can get some below zero temperatures in January, but it is rare.
