How cold is it in the hubbard glacier in sept/oct

as i am going on a cruise an don't know what clothes to take

  1. The Hubbard Glacier is in coastal Alaska, a long way from Seattle. That said, near the glacier it is almost always cold enough to require a sweater and waterproof jacket. The weather in SE Alaska at the end of September into October can be quite decent, sunny and fairly mild, but a sweater or fleece jacket will be required much of the time, and a warmer coat is probably not a bad idea, especially for October. Rain is always a possibility, so go prepared with a waterproof jacket and rain proof shoes.
