I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Flash Player 9 on my MacBook Pro a million times and I still can't get it to play internet content. It's installed but I keep getting a message "Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser." when I try to play content. I do have JavaScript enabled but it still doesn't work in any of my browsers.

  1. Hard to give an answer without knowing what the problem is or what OS (like what kind of windows or Mac) you are using, but here are some suggestions:

    - Restart your computer and try again;

    - Disable pop-up blockers and anti-virus software;

    - Clear the cache of your browser;

    - Use a different browser;

  2. Certain browsers require differnt plugins for Flash to work.  Internet Explorer plugin is differnt from firefox/Opera plugin.

    Visit Adobe's site to check out the different variations - http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/...

    Also note, Shockwave player is required by some sites which is not the same as flash player.

    If you have the various variations/correct version installed for your OS then, I guess you should contact the site admin on which you are trying to view content to see if they can help you out.

  3. The obvious option is to update your Web browsers to the latest versions.
