  1. They are all scam artists... I am about to take a credit card company to court on an issue that was paid off five years ago.  I faxed them a copy of their letter accepting the payment, a copy of the check (front and back) where it was paid and yet, it is still on my credit rating...  So, I am looking at about $25,000 in increased Mortgage points and vehicle interest that I shouldn't have had to pay had it not been for their s***w-ups...

However, avoid Wells Fargo like the plague...  They will steal candy from your kid and charge you for their efforts in doing so!

  2. Because you signed and did not read the fine print.

It should be criminal to charge the accessory fines and fees they get away with, like; $85 for over limit fee, $25 for late payment, $55 for bounced account or bad check fee, $7 for account protection ID theft??

Did I really authorize these, YEP; in the fine print you can never read unless blown up 13 x the normal rate or pica 10.

  3. This is a good point but I do not have all the answers.

  4. I suspect you don't know the definition of robbery.  Making a contract and enforcing it generally does not amount to robbery.  Robbery involves taking property by force or the threat of force.

  5. There is a bill pending in the House about the credit practices now in use by lending institutions.  They failed to bring it up for vote before their 5 week break.  This should have been done months ago.  Sometimes if you call them, they will lower the interest rate and/or make a settlement on money they say is owed to them.

  6. They have many, many lawyers that know many, many loopholes.
