How come Chinese are generally really good at table tennis?

Just seems very odd how they seem to win almost all the tournaments and i was wondering if there was any particular reason why

Chinese naturally have very, very fast reflexes.

Also I was reading an article in sports Illustrated, for most sports you need a lot of exspensive equipment, but in the poor parts of China they make a table tennis court out of some plywood and 1 rubber ball, and the play all day and night because they have nothing else.
