How come England is all about London?

That's because some of the best sights to see are in London and London is England's capital city after all.

Let's put it this way.  If you think about France, naturally you think about the capital city of Paris and not other cities such as Nice and Burgundy.

Because all the journalist live there. Including the BBC which only really covers London. But collects it,s tax nationwide.

I don't think that, but of course your first thought for say Italy would be Rome, then the other cities.  It is only because it is the capital.  Think of Ireland and your first thought is probably Dublin.  Incidentally Catalonia is a region of Spain not a city (actually it is the region that Barcelona is in) and California is a state in US.  Bear in mind also that there are lovely places in UK (as well as other countries) that are not cities.
