  1. Yeah its probably cuz its 2 far away form the USA

  2. If you were in Hawaii, would YOU want to see a basketball game?

  3. too far away

and noone would be at the games

  4. 1)  Hawaii is not a large enough market, TV or otherwise, to justify a team there.  There's no way they could even average enough home attendance to support a team.

    2)  Travel distance would be prohibitive.  There's no way a Hawaii team could play a back-to-back home-and-away 2-game series like some teams do.

    3) Hawaii is 3 time zones away from even the West Coast, so to get even a 10 pm game televised in the states they'd have to start it at 4 pm their time.  That's just not workable except 2 days out of the week.

  5. not enough ppl there watch basketball

too far for teams to travel

big population is tourists who could care less about them

and some day the owner would lose the entire arena in a volcano eruption

i know if ur from hawaii ur probly disappointed

  6. too costly. and only the home team would be able to come 2 games. so they will never sell out games! why build a small arena? and the time zone is like 2-3 hours back from Cali's. est coast ppl will be sleep when that game is played or they would have to play alot earlier than average teams play.

  7. technically they should be to far-a-way to be American state

  8. You see even the NBA, though being a sport league is primarily composed of businessmen who wants profits out of their investments.

Hawaii's geographical location makes it non-feasible, since it's obviously further, and it's low market makes it a non-destination for investiture of businessmen.

    Hope this helps.

  9. Hi ♥╬ღ Euяopa Rockszz ஐ╬♥SV18☮,

We support the Lakers here in Hawaii!!

    Take care Girl.................

    Were 2,500 miles from LA.

  10. Mainly the distance, a visiting team would not travel all the way there just to play one game and travel back to the mainland.  Also i don't think there is too much interest in basketball for the NBA to even think about it,  I'm from San Diego so I know about that.  Just enjoy the College games sometimes those are a lot better than the pros to watch.

  11. theres only 30 teams. I would agree with you if there were like 60 teams. Not every state can have their own team.

  12. They don't need a pro sports team there !

By far the most beautiful state in the U.S.

  13. Two Reasons:

•Distance from the rest of teams

    •Small Market

  14. please Europa, please. . . call me by my full name; Steve Nash.
