How come I am having a problem registering my phone on Yahoo Mobile to use Yahoo photo upload?

I select my phone and wait for the confirmation code. I get that, put it in and it's done. Then, when I try to upload a photo, I always get "Phone not registered". My carrier is Sprint if that makes a difference. I was able to do this a few months ago and now I cannot.

I have the very same problem using a verizon phone.  Several months ago my phone photos' uploaded just fine, now none get into my accounts album!  I've talked with verizon, they say there's nothing wrong on their end, or with my phone settings.  Is yahoo having a technical issue with their photos mobile upload?
