How come I call someone with Long Distance, but it calls the wrong number?

I used my home phone to call my sisters that lives in New York, but it calls the wrong person... HELP ME! I'm sure I did everything correct!

  1. You may be calling a wrong # because the # you have is not correct. You may have transposed it when you wrote it down. If you have their address, confirm the # via information.
