How come I can't post my url??

When I answer a question and I want to leave the link for my queston it won't work? When I copy it all kinds of extra letters and numbers show up as well.Why?

Those numbers and letters you see are part of the link. It means the website has a database driven back end and the web page code passes that information to the database to retrieve the right record.

If the link doesn't work when someone else clicks it, that is because there is either a time out period set or it uses a cookie on your PC to validate the user has the right to access the page it is linked to.
