How come I can control my dream?

Question

I had a dream I was at the grocery store, and I knew what I wanted. I got some bacon, I went straight for the big box of cheerios, I went to get some strawberries, and I just picked out a bunch of stuff that I like in real life. Also, I controlled it yesterday. I was at a mall parking lot and cars were everywhere, and I could run away.

Usually, if there is a dream where I need to run away, I can't. I get stuck and can't move in the dream.

For me There are two different kinds of dreams, ones you have no control over (sometimes these can have a meaning or even predict the future) and Dreams in which you act as thought you were really there (like in real life)

I know some people can, and it's a matter of training yourself, but it must come naturally to you!

yeah, one time i KNEW I WAS DREAMING. But it was only one dream. I was in a bright green bus with butterflies and i knew i was dreaming so i jumped and flew all around the bus. I swear-im not joking

It is called a "lucid dream". Try to google it.

i forget what its called, but some people can do that..its really hard to do but  you can do it so good job!
