How come I have set my default Internet to Firefox but...?

when I click the link to my e-mails on MSN it opens Internet Explorer? :S

  1. Start > Set Program Access and Defaults

    In there you can change links to open in Firefox

MSN messenger likes to keep to Internet Explorer thanks to the unchangeable defaults that were put into the messenger, since MSN and Microsoft are linked and Microsoft doesn't want Firefox and other browsers to be favored by users. In other words, it's an attempt to have users like and get use to IE.

  3. Mine does this too. There is no way around it, since MSN is from Windows, they set the default browser to Internet Explorer.
