  1. there's nothing wrong with this, i guess?

  2. This is a very positive, and yes, even 'normal' thing to do.  You could be talking to yourself--the capability to love others begins with the willingness to love yourself.

An even 'deeper' interpretation:  You could be speaking to your true Self (yes, with a capital 'S'), which would be of course, your Soul.  As we are all connected spiritually to one another and to every living thing in Creation, by saying, "I love you," when alone you are also saying it to God (or whatever your concept of God is).--That's because we are never truly alone.

  3. It's healthy. In most humans, 90% of thought (or probably more) is made up of incessant and unnecessary self-talk, which is usually negative. Therefore, it is healthy for you to be saying this to yourself. Positive thoughts are still only thoughts, but they are better for your health than negative ones!

  4. i would imagine that you are a very emotional person. there is nothing wrong with this i dont think, unless you begin to feel embarrassed about it or feel paranoid, which there is no reason to be.

  5. better yet, when you say it think about someone you love or someone who needs love...more like a prayer. then you'll be doing some good for people you care about. Could also be OCD, but if you're not concerned by it then no worries. there's plenty of worse things you could be saying, and i think we could all use a case of the uncontrollable 'i love yous.'

  6. It is called "self-talk", and kind, loving, self-talk is the best there is.
