How come I never see anything about rootbeer SHAKES?

I see rootbeer floats on menus, people make them at home, and same with strawberry, chocolate and vanilla shakes. But at MY house, I make the rootbeer SHAKE. Y'know, mixing the float together to skake consistency.

My question is, why do I never hear about these delicious creations, rootbeer shakes? Is there something I don't know? Is this subject taboo? Or am I the only person I know genius enough to create such a mindblowingly clever and delicious invention?

Seems like you've never been to a Sonic. But the call it a "blended" float. Pretty damned tasty, too.

It is becasue you do not go to the right places. Most places like restaraunts have  a lot of stuff on the menu so everything is limited like milk shakes.

If you go to a specialty shop, usually icecream you can get any flavor milk shake you want. There is a little mom and pop ice cream place near me and htey have a milk shake menu with about 50 flavors listed. It includes rootbeer.
