I just realized today that I can switch my tv back and forth between analog and digital. However, I only get a few digital channels; while I get 13 analog channels. I checked and all the major local channels are now brodcasting in digital in my area, but I can only get 3 of them. I am still not getting ABC, NBC and CW or any other local channels. I am using an exterior antenna brought in through a video coax cable; it doesn't reach my tv so i have used a splitter and an extra cable. I tried using an interior antenna and it gives me even fewer channels. The extra cable is an inexpensive one. Are their better quality ones or ones used for digital tv? Would getting the dtv converter box help any?

  1. Go to http://www.antennaweb.org

After you type in your address and all that, it will allow you to show analog stations only and digital stations only.  You can see if certain stations are in digital yet, or if you need a stronger antenna.
