How come I think I'm so ugly? ?

People say I'm petty all the time and I've even been asked to model. I think that I look pretty in some pictures when I really try, but when people video tape me or take photos of me when I'm acting normal I think I look soo ugly! Often when I look in the mirror too I think I'm ugly if I'm not like posing or whatever. Why do I think I'm so ugly when other people (not everyone of course) think I'm really pretty? I'm 15 btw haha I don't know if that changes anything.

dont worry its normal I get the smae reaction from people oh ur so beautiful even the model thing has been brought up like u but i think otherwise i am not pretty for me But i guess it gives you a boost it does makes u feel a little better if ur having a blue day So dont complain

You're a teenager. Being a teenager is an emotional rollercoaster.

Today, you might think "Ugh, I'm so ugly!"

Tomarrow, you might think "I look sooo pretty today."

It's just part of being a teenager, hormones and whatnot.

it's not a bad thing that u feel that way it's normal

well it is bad cuz then u have a low self esteem

so to fix it ur gonna have 2 pray about it & actually try

if u want 2 believe ur pretty

You self perceptions is all wrong. You have to change the way you feel about yourself, pictures don't say it all nor do videos. Look at yourself better, don't compare yourself to people and love the way you look just not too much-lol! hope this helps.

its okay to feel like that everyone go's through that stage, but you gotta stop telling your self that your ugly , i went through that stage too, where everyone told me i was beautifull but i thought that i was ugly, but trust even if i havnt seen u i bet ur beautiful, inside to out

so try to accept the fact in your head that your pretty and youll eventually stop getting low self esteem

Maybe because your comparing yourself to the stars in magazines? I have no idea, I sue to have low self esteem. But that was only because of my acne I saw a dermatologist and its all gone and now people say I'm beautiful. :) But pictures and videos never come out good you shouldn't go by that. I don't know what to say for the mirror though. Maybe because you use to much make-up and wish you could go natural? Idk...

You have low self esteem, which means that when people say you're pretty, you probably don't believe it or don't take it seriously. Try to think why you have low self esteem, did kids pick on you when you were little? or something like that? I have the same problem, no matter how much people tell me i'm pretty, I don't believe them because I was picked on when I was little. Even though i look different then when i was a kid, it kind of tramautized me, so i feel the same way you do. Maybe you have a similar situation?

to answer ur question, almost or i think all, of ,my friends are like this

one of my friends comes over and we talk alot about how ugly we think we are

and shes really pretty i mean shes gorgeos but she really thinks she is ugly

im not saying that bcuz shes my friends, before we even met i saw her and she was just like acting normal and she looked pretty

when we became friends and i would like take pics of her or whatever shed get all freaked out bcuz she wasnt posing she was just acting normal

you know, maybe we all are pretty but we just cant see it yet

we can try so hard not to be like this but we cant help it
