How come Mcdonalds don't sell pizza?

They actually did use to sell pizza in the US in the early 90's. I remember getting them when I was a kid and liking them. That is what I would always get there!

In some rare locations they do. They do sell pizza at select Orlando, Florida locations. One of the ones is the worlds largest McDonalds which is right off interstate 4. I believe there are also 3 other locations in Orlando that has them.

Because it's not a pizza restaurant. Each restaurant has their own menu. If you want pizza, you go to a pizza place. You want falafel, you go to a falafel shop, etc.

Here in Arizona we have Taco Bells that have Personal Pan Pizza from Pizza Hut, and their bread sticks.  Go figure...

McDonalds did sell pizza at one point. I used to live in the UK and saw them in the McDonalds there in the late 80's.

Here in the USA they tried a "Hot Pocket" type of thing called McPizza, that lasted a few months. The longest run was Canada from 1992-1997. It started as a full size pizza. But was then changed to individual sized pizzas.

As a side note... The McDonald's corporation at one time owned the Donato's Pizza chain. McDonald's sold it in 2003.

Not too many people would buy a Mcdonald's pizza. They would not take the time to make it fresh, because they have to get their drive thru orders out in three minutes.  Most people like their pizzas hot and fresh out of the oven.
