The hurricane has fizzled out, why are Bush and Cheney still being no shows at their own convention? who ever heard of such a thing?

Obama has everything the country needs to restore the country back to the way it used to me. He will bring in health care so thousands of Americans will NOT die due to lack of insurance or lack thereof. He will help the middle class and the poor. He will stop the unneccesary bleeding of young americans and innocent Iraqi people. Innocent soldiers and inhabitants in Iraq are dying needlessly. Pavin coming into office lost whatever hope McCain had of winning. That man cannot even carry out his speech. I feel sorry for him, he ruined it all by bring in the woman with the beehive and the woman who is selling her own daughter down the river to save the polls.

They were going around trying to get people to fill up the convention by offering buses. They couldn't even get 10,000 people. Many republicans refused to show up & I wondered how they were going to get around this. McCain has many enemies, he has fought so much with people they don't want anything to do with him. He is knows to cross party lines but this is because the dems have been so nice to him when he had no friends they have worked with him...I saw a man on here who said he is a Christan conservative & praying for Obama. He said Obama is an humble Christian man & he had a very list of why he & people he knows are for Obama. He said Obama will win every state in the south & W.Virginia. ...So the rep. convention was going to show McCain as being the loser he is so this is one way they can cover it up. Schwarzenegger threatened not to come because he was promised something for his state that he never got & if he didn't get it he wasn't showing up. It is funny how they talk about dems being divided when the nature of dems is unity (healing is together like a cut finger when it heals comes together) the republicans are all about chaos, destruction & being a mess. I think it would be so much easier for Obama if people would stop letting Rupert Murdock-Fox news lieing to them.

I think Obama is ahead because no matter what state you are in, you are feeling the negative economic affects of the REPUBLICANS and know the only way things will change is if we get a change in the White House. By change I mean someone that can relate to middle class working family issues, someone that is for Unions and helping workers improve their conditions, someone that lives amoung the people that are dealing with these times.

Well the Republicans can't control the weather. However, this gives Bush a convenient excuse not to be at the convention. Frankly, Bush is toxic to whoever he is associated with, and even the Republicans know this.
