How come Philadelphia Park doesn't run a horse racing card on Fridays....unlike practically every other track?

Philadelphia Park runs races during the week unlike practically every other track.  A lot of tracks run the weekends or Thursday-Sunday.  Philadelphia Park is one of the few that run Mondays and Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  I'm guessing that they need a day off to manage the track and they probably benefit from being one of the only tracks with racing available during the week.

Philadelphia Park is a unique animal in sports entertainment.  The only reason there is a race track is to host the casino.   Horse racing as a physical plant is not competitive with first class facilities.
