  1. umm, because they're different slots?

  2. wll 1st off go t www.crucial.com and see what kind of memory you have in the computer/ It will scan your system and tell you the kind.size and what the max you can upgrade to/ They do not make a 750mb memory stick they come in 256-512-1gb-2gb-4gb sticks you. Just because the sticks are the same length means nothing they have little gold connectors on them. some are the old 168pin (SDRAM)-184pin(DDR ram) and 240pin (DDR2 ram) - 240pin (DDR3) but ddr3 had the pin slot in a different spot that DDR2 ram. They had either 1 or 2 slots. 2 slot is SDRAM all others have 1 slot. Thanks

  3. Hardware is updated often by the manufacturers. There are several types of RAM out there now. you will have to find out which your PC takes.

    SDRAM? DDR.....the list is huge!!
