How come XFL got booted but there's still WNBA, WMLS and women Softball playing on tv?

rating were too low for XFL but there is enough for the other things you mentioned. There is going to be a new football leauge in the next coming years to compete with the NFL (prob wont succeeed.)

I'd like to say that it was all NBC's fault ( who just re-upped w/ Norte Dame football in spite of last year's lowest-ever ratings ), but I think it was because other financial backing also pulled out.
